Made in Japan – A Stylish 2-Way Apron Dress

Designed in response to hairstylists who wanted “an apron that looks more like real clothing.”
This versatile apron dress can be worn open like a gilet or tied like a simple one-piece dress.
The clean V-neckline and wrap-skirt–inspired silhouette create a polished look while maintaining full functionality for salon work.

The body-hugging fit flatters the figure, and both sides feature convenient slash pockets.
Even as an apron, it maintains the elegance of everyday wear—perfect for professionals who want style without sacrificing practicality.

When worn as a dress, the garment is wrapped around the body and secured with the waist ribbon.
No Velcro or buttons are used in the design.

Fabric & Performance

Made from lightweight Japanese water-repellent polyester, the fabric is thin and easy to move in, with a slightly crisp sound compared to cotton.
Although water-repellent, it is not fully waterproof and may allow penetration when exposed to large amounts of water.
The water-repellent effect gradually decreases with repeated washing.
Oil-based products such as creams or oils may cause staining, as no oil-repellent coating is applied.

Care Instructions

The apron can be washed in a household washing machine, though hot water should be avoided.
Tumble drying is not recommended, but the garment dries quickly indoors without a dryer.
It can withstand heat sterilization up to 130°C and shows no discoloration after soaking in alcohol or hypochlorous acid solution (500 ppm) for one hour.
Colorant from hair dye can be removed with a remover, as confirmed in tests with professional stylists.
Even when commercial bleach was applied and left for one hour, no fading or discoloration occurred.
