“10 Minutes × Transparency” – Advanced Base Colour Design

THROW ONE features a newly designed base colour that combines two different dye molecule sizes: a larger, vivid blue dye and a smaller, gentle violet dye. This pairing efficiently fills the hair interior, suppressing unwanted red tones while delivering soft, transparent colour from roots to ends—all within 10 minutes.

■ Colour Expression: THROW A/08 vs. ONE DA/08
Conventional THROW shades build clear, deep cool tones through layered colour development over time, using sheer blue and beige tones.
THROW ONE focuses on rapid red-tone suppression, using a more vivid blue combined with a gentle violet base to achieve soft transparency quickly.

■ Development Speed of the New Blue Dye
When compared at a 10-minute processing time:
A/08 shows insufficient blue expression due to shorter-than-recommended processing.
ONE DA/08 demonstrates clear, vivid blue development even within 10 minutes.

■ Optimised Dye Quantity
The newly adopted blue dye has a larger molecular size and higher chroma, enabling high-saturation colour with minimal dye quantity.
For FASHION shades, the formula avoids excessive pigment loading to reduce the risk of colour sinking at the ends, achieving speed comparable to conventional THROW.
For COMFORT shades, the formulation prioritises grey coverage while maintaining THROW’s signature colour quality, making it ideal for quick retouch work.

■ Controlled Alkalinity Settings
Because vivid blue expression does not require excessive pigment, alkalinity levels remain similar to conventional THROW formulas.
Only FASHION 10Lv and COMFORT 8Lv are set with slightly higher alkalinity to support lift from natural black hair within a short time. Lower and mid-level shades are balanced to avoid unnecessary damage on pre-coloured hair.

■ Brightness Adjustment Recipes
For higher lift, simply mix with conventional THROW C/14 or CC/12.
For lower brightness, extending the processing time allows flexible adjustment across a wide range of levels.

■ Colour Development Over Time
Colour develops rapidly during the first 10 minutes after application, then progresses more gradually.
Apply first to roots and mid-lengths where red tones are strongest, and apply to ends last to prevent colour sinking and achieve a balanced finish.
